Sandals Resorts has outlined major upgrades to three of its Jamaica properties. Sandals South Coast reopens first on 18 November with refreshed interiors and new suites, followed by Sandals Montego Bay and Caribbean Cay in December.

Sandals Resorts International is investing $200 million to completely transform three of its iconic Jamaica properties into “Sandals 2.0” luxury experiences. Following temporary closures caused by Hurricane Melissa, the brand opted for a full reimagining rather than simple repairs

The extensive upgrades target accommodations, pools, and culinary spaces across three flagship properties.[

Sandals Caribbean Cay (Formerly Sandals Royal Caribbean) is relaunching under a new identity inspired by its offshore island setting with a reopening date of December 18, adding 84 new guestrooms (bringing the total to 291). New categories include SkyPool Suites with private plunge pools and Swim-up Suites. Brand-new Oceanview Butler Suites will debut in June 2027.

The private island, Sandals Cay, will feature the new Parisol Beach Club, complete with a swim-up bar, pool, private palapas, a standalone Parisol restaurant, and a Jerk Shac

The investments focus on enhanced guest experiences across rooms, facilities and dining options. The upgrades aim to strengthen the brand’s luxury all-inclusive offering in the Caribbean.
