SeaDream has announced its next ship, SeaDream III, set to debut in July 2029 with a 27-night inaugural sailing from Hong Kong through Japan and Korea. The 230-guest ship, understood to be built in China, will offer guest accommodations across five decks with a greater selection of suites, Commodore staterooms and connecting configurations, with private balconies across four guest decks. Expansive upper decks will feature a dedicated pool deck and multiple indoor and al fresco spaces for dining, gathering and relaxing.
SeaDream III has been designed to travel farther while bringing guests closer to visited places, with three dedicated watersports marinas providing direct access to the sea. The ship features expanded spa, fitness and wellness offerings, building upon the signature experiences aboard SeaDream I and SeaDream II. Bookings for the inaugural voyages opened on 1 September, with 49 voyages currently available covering destinations across six continents, 73 countries and 364 ports during the first 24 months.
The maiden voyage from Hong Kong on 10 July 2029 will sail through the Ryukyu Islands and along Japan’s Pacific coast before arriving in Tokyo for the official christening on 21 July. Inaugural season voyages will explore Japan and South Korea, followed by Southeast Asia, Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand, with destinations including Hong Kong, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Bali, Komodo and the Great Barrier Reef. In 2030, the ship will sail west from Asia to India, the Arabian Peninsula and the Mediterranean, before exploring the British Isles, Baltic, Norway, Svalbard, Greenland and Iceland, continuing through the St Lawrence and into the Great Lakes.
