Tourism and Events Queensland has organised 63 familiarisation programmes arund ATE 2025 showcasing 346 Queensland-based experiences, aimed at promoting the state’s varied attractions to international media and trade representatives.

The planned programs for ATE25 are designed to illustrate the breadth of Queensland’s offerings, from the stunning Gold Coast beaches to the tropical paradise of the Great Barrier Reef.

Queensland’s commitment to diverse and high-quality tourism is evident in its tailored offerings, catering to adventure-seekers, relaxation enthusiasts, culture lovers, and luxury travellers.

Australia’s tourism industry has seen 8.3m international arrivals, demonstrating a 9pc growth and underscoring Queensland’s role in driving this recovery and future growth strategies.

The four day program of business appointments between members of the Australian tourism industry and global tourism wholesalers and retailers. Between Monday, 28 April 2025 and Thursday, 1 May 2025 around 1,600 Australian sellers and more than 700 global buyers will take part in 60,000 appointments at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Tourism Australia CEO Philippa Harrison shared: “The success of ATE25 is a testament to the strength of Australia’s tourism industry.”
