Slieve League Hotel Ltd has lodged a planning application for 188-bedroom hotel at Drogheda IDA Business and Technology Park. The development on the Donore Road includes a five-storey building with 176 guest rooms and 12 staff rooms. Facilities comprise a lobby, bar, café, dining room, meeting rooms, conference space and gym.
The proposal features 193 car parking spaces, four coach bays and 66 bicycle spaces. A green roof and dedicated service area form part of the plans. Access uses the existing IDA estate entrance with additional pedestrian and cyclist paths.
A Natura Impact Statement accompanies the application lodged on 26 May 2026. The site lies west of the Audi dealership near Junction 10 of the M1. Meath County Council considers the proposal.
