Norwegian Cruise Line has announced and opened sale for its Summer 2028 season. The season features over 450 three- to 14-day voyages departing from 25 homeports across 20 ships, with calls to nearly 150 destinations across 51 countries. The season also features 175 overnight stays and late departures in 53 destinations, including Santorini, Greece; Livorno (Florence/Pisa), Italy and Juneau, Alaska.
The company’s Summer 2028 deployment includes the Aqua spending her first full summer season offering three- and four-night roundtrip Bahamas cruises from Miami, with visits to the Great Stirrup Cay private island and the Great Tides Waterpark set to open on 4 September 2026. The Aura offers seven-day roundtrip Eastern Caribbean voyages from Miami to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic; St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands; Tortola, British Virgin Islands and Great Stirrup Cay.
Norwegian will maintain eight ships home-ported across Europe for the Summer 2028 season. The lineup includes some of NCL’s newest vessels alongside guest favorites. They will sail out of key European hubs like Southampton, Barcelona, Civitavecchia, Ravenna, and Reykjavik.
The Jewel debuts in Morocco during a 12-day Canary Islands roundtrip voyage from Barcelona, Spain, with calls to Casablanca and Agadir, while also calling to Arrecife (Lanzarote) and Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain, for the first time. The Getaway sails 10- and 11-day Northern Europe itineraries between London (Southampton) and Reykjavik, Iceland during the midnight sun season, with inaugural calls to Grundarfjörður, Iceland and Vik, Norway, marking NCL’s first-ever visit to the port.
The Dawn calls to Zadar, Croatia and Cagliari, Sardinia for the first time. In Alaska, the Encore, Bliss and Joy sail seven-day roundtrip voyages departing from Seattle on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays between April and October 2028, with the Jade returning with seven-day voyages roundtrip from Vancouver, British Columbia and Whittier, Alaska.
- Norwegian Getaway: Sails 10- and 11-day Northern Europe routes between Southampton and Reykjavik, Iceland during the midnight sun season. It will also run Baltic Sea voyages with its first turnaround in Helsinki, Finland.
- Norwegian Star: Homeports out of northern hubs like Southampton to offer extensive British Isles and Northern Europe itineraries.
- Norwegian Jewel: Makes a notable European appearance with 7- to 10-day Baltic Sea voyages and an 11-day repositioning route between Barcelona and Southampton.
- Norwegian Viva: This newer Prima-class ship will operate 9-, 10-, and 12-day voyages homeporting interchangeably out of Rome, Venice, Barcelona, and Istanbul.
- Norwegian Epic: Offers longer 9- to 12-day roundtrip Greek Isles itineraries out of Rome (Civitavecchia).
- Norwegian Pearl: Focuses on 7-day Greek Isles loops homeporting between Venice (Ravenna) and Athens (Piraeus).
- Norwegian Dawn: Operates multiple multi-port embarkations out of Lisbon, Barcelona, Rome, and Venice (Ravenna), featuring new port stops in Croatia and Sardinia.
- Norwegian Jewel (Morocco Debut): Will also homeport out of Barcelona for a unique 12-day Canary Islands and Morocco itinerary.
Elsewhere the Prima returns to Galveston, Texas, sailing seven-day Western Caribbean roundtrip itineraries that include calls to Harvest Caye, Belize. The Luna sails a special 10-day repositioning voyage from Miami to New York City in May 2028, featuring inaugural visits to Aruba, Curaçao and San Juan, Puerto Rico. The Escape offers alternating Eastern and Western Caribbean roundtrip voyages with calls to Great Stirrup Cay from Orlando (Port Canaveral).
The Gem debuts in Philadelphia for a fifth consecutive season from the city, offering seven-day Bermuda sailings with overnight calls at the Royal Naval Dockyard.
