Thailand has changed its 30-day visa exemption rule, which now only allows tourists to re-enter the country via a land border twice in a calendar year.
Those who want to re-enter more than twice must obtain a Thai visa in advance of their visit.
The change was introduced to prevent tourists from staying long term in Thailand, briefly visiting neighbouring countries and qualifying for another visa-exemption period when they return.
