Ships currently on order will contribute a total of 134,770 berths to the global cruise fleet, with an average capacity of 2,209 passengers per ship.
Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings leads in ship orders with 13 ships planned for the next 12 years, followed by the Royal Caribbean Group with six ships set to enter service by 2028.
