Tourism Ireland together with four golf and tourism operators from Ireland has attended the Invited Champions Classic, an annual pro-am golf tournament at Pinehurst Resort in North Carolina. The event targets a high-value American audience including private golf club members and business leaders with an interest in premium golf travel experiences. Over 300 people participated in the golf tournament with the participating operators networking and generating business leads for 2027 and beyond.
The operators joining Tourism Ireland included Gorse and Thistle, North and West Coast Links Golf Ireland, Killeen Castle and Excelerator Luxury Golf Tours. Tourism Ireland also reminded golfers that Adare Manor will host the Ryder Cup next year. The event forms part of Tourism Ireland’s promotional programme to encourage more golfers from around the globe to consider booking a holiday to Ireland.
