Tourism NI attended the Taste of Ireland networking event in Glasgow alongside Tourism Ireland, showcasing Ireland’s rich product offerings. The event was attended by 33 leading Scottish tour operators and travel agents. Three trade partners form the province gave an overview of their own tourism products before they took part in a networking session.

The Taste of Ireland event showcased the very best of Ireland’s tourism offering, including world-class food and drink experiences, rich heritage and outstanding visitor attractions. The event aimed to inspire future visits from Scotland. Participants included Margaret and Catherine Hamilton from Shirt Tales NI, Adrian McLaughlin and Dara Martin from the Whiskey Experience at the Harbourview Hotel, and Sharon Scott from The Courthouse Bushmills.

The networking event provided an opportunity for Scottish travel professionals to learn about Ireland’s tourism products directly from local providers. Tourism NI delivered a presentation which showcased the region’s product offerings. The event formed part of ongoing efforts to attract visitors from Scotland to Ireland.
