- Karak is one of key tourist attractions in Jordan
Al-Gahd news agency reported that armed men killed at least 10 people, including security officers and a Canadian female tourist identified as Linda Vatcher. At least 27 others were wounded.and tourists are possibly trapped inside the Karak Crusader-era castle in Jordan, 130km south of Amman.
Video footage posted online by witnesses claiming to be in Karak showed people running in the street and police taking cover behind vehicles near a police station amid the sound of shooting.
