Trainline is preparing to launch in the Irish domestic travel market, bringing Irish Rail services together with coach journeys from Bus Eireann Expressway, Citylink, JJ Kavanagh, Wexford Bus, Dublin Express and Aircoach through its app and website. The launch gives Irish travellers a new way to search, compare and book rail and coach journeys in one place. New research commissioned by Trainline found that 42pc of Irish consumers have already used Trainline while travelling abroad.
The launch will give Irish travellers a new way to search, compare and book rail and coach journeys in one place, whether planning a trip at home or travelling elsewhere in Europe. For international visitors already familiar with Trainline, it also provides a familiar way to find and book public transport journeys while travelling in Ireland.
Trainline’s Country Manager for Foreign Travel, Hannah Randall, will be in Dublin on Wednesday, 21 October. The launch is not yet public. The platform brings together rail and coach services in one place.
