Travel Counsellors Ireland celebrated its 21st anniversary in Ireland on Saturday. Cathy Burke, Managing Director of Travel Counsellors Ireland, founded the business from her home office in 2021. The company has grown to support more than 85 travel counsellors operating across the country with a team of 10 based in Cork.
The 2026 conference returned to Fota Island Resort after nine years. Burke has acknowledged the determination of the counsellors who run successful businesses across Ireland. The company has built its reputation on personalised and relationship-led travel services for leisure and corporate clients since its founding in 2005. Travel Counsellors Ireland has received the Business All-Star Travel Superteam 2025 accreditation from the All-Ireland Business Foundation. Travel Counsellors operates as part of a global network of $2,000 travel professionals.
Cathy Burke shared: On this date 12 September, 21 years ago, I started Travel Counsellors in Ireland from my home office – just me, a great crew in Manchester backing me up, and a big dream. And here we are today… The most incredible community of TC’s, our loyal and supportive business partners, and the BEST TEAM anyone could ever ask for.
