TUI Cruises has cancelled several cruises scheduled for early 2025 due to security concerns in the Red Sea area, impacting two vessels – Mein Schiff 4 and Mein Schiff 6 intended to spend the winter season in Asia

The vessels will now take a longer route around Africa instead of returning to Europe via the Red Sea, leading to the cancellation of repositioning cruises to the Mediterranean and additional sailings in Asia, the Middle East, and Europe

Nine cruises on Mein Schiff 4 (between February 25 and March 24, 2025) and five sailings on Mein Schiff 6 (between April 6 and June 6, 2025) have been cancelled, with affected passengers to receive a full refund and a Future Cruise Credit (FCC) equivalent to ten percent of the fare paid for the cancelled sailings

The vessels will offer new itineraries in the Indian Ocean and Africa while returning to Europe, with Mein Schiff 4 conducting cruises in the Middle East from Doha and Dubai, and Mein Schiff 6 operating from Singapore and Hong Kong with itineraries spanning Southeast Asia and the Far East, including diverse ports of call.
