TUI has announced a significant expansion of its airline operations for summer 2027 introducing new regional routes, direct long-haul flights and expanded hotel partnerships across Ireland and England. The overhaul focuses heavily on increasing regional airport connectivity and introducing first-of-its-kind direct holiday routes. TUI has announced a new direct flight route from Cork Airport to Palma Airport in Majorca for Summer 2027.
The flights will run weekly on Tuesdays from 18 May until 31 August 2027 using Boeing 737-800 and 737 MAX 8 aircraft. This route is specifically timed to align with Marella Cruises Mediterranean itineraries sailing out of Palma allowing travellers to book seamless Cruise and Stay packages. TUI is launching new twice-weekly charter flights from London Gatwick to Djerba operating Mondays and Fridays with a flight time of roughly three hours and 15 minutes.
Starting 3 November 2027 TUI will run twice-weekly direct flights from London Gatwick to Zanzibar marking the first time England travellers can fly directly to the African island without connecting through hubs like Dubai. Alongside the route overhauls TUI has added more than 1,000 partner hotels to its summer 2027 portfolio including expanded short-haul capacity in Greece and Turkey as well as newly introduced global city-break destinations like Bratislava, Singapore, Atlanta and Los Angeles via partner airlines.
