The US owner trustee UMB Bank has secured a $4m (€3.42m) summary judgment in the London Commercial Court against the Malaysian freight group Asia Cargo Network doing business as ACN Global. The lawsuit centred on unpaid aircraft lease payments for a Boeing 737-800BCF freighter aircraft powered by CFM56-7B26 engines. While the aircraft is owned by UMB Bank it is managed by the aircraft lessor BBAM.
Justice Waksman handed down an oral judgment on Friday 11 September 2026 ruling entirely in favour of the claimant. The case follows a legal battle that began when UMB Bank initially sued Asia Cargo Network over a broader $29m (€24.78m) B737 freighter lease dispute in late 2025.
