VietJetAir has selected Pratt & Whitney GTF engines to power 44 more Airbus A320neo family aircraft comprising 24 A321-200NX and 20 A321-200NY (XLR) models. The agreement was formalised at the 2026 Singapore Airshow with deliveries due to start in July 2026. This addition raises the Vietnamese carrier’s total backlog of GTF-powered aircraft to 137 units and includes a 12-year EngineWise Comprehensive maintenance agreement.
