Viking has introduced new shore excursions and small group experiences for its European river itineraries that are now open for booking. The additions cover Rhine, Danube, Seine and Elbe routes with unique activities such as Zeppelin flights over the Ruhr Valley and Cologne. Guests can also enjoy dinners at Nikolaihof Winery and local tastings in multiple destinations.
New small group options include visits to the Palace of Versailles, Schönbrunn Palace and the medieval village of Colmar. Fully guided land extensions in Italy, France, Croatia, Slovenia, Belgium and the Netherlands become available from 2026 and 2027. Viking returns to the Oberammergau Passion Play in 2030.
A summer sale runs until 30 June 2026 with reduced fares and offers for North American travellers.
