Volaris has launched new services from Guadalajara to Boston, Raleigh Durham, Nashville, Washington Dulles and Atlanta this autumn, becoming the sole carrier on several of these routes. The additions have strengthened Guadalajara as the airline’s primary hub and expanded its US network to more than 28 cities. Separately Alaska Airlines has introduced the only nonstop flights between San Diego and Loreto in Mexico starting in December, timed to coincide with whale watching season.

Guadalajara to Boston (BOS) started on 15 October 2026, operating 4 times weekly. Guadalajara to Nashville (BNA) started on 15 October 2026, operating 3 times weekly. Guadalajara to Raleigh-Durham (RDU) started on 15 October 2026, operating 3 times weekly.
Alaska Airlines marked its 40th anniversary in San Diego with a new milestone connection. San Diego (SAN) to Loreto (LTO) seasonal nonstop service started on 19 December 2026 and runs through 28 April 2027. The service operates twice weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays using Embraer 175 aircraft operated by SkyWest Airlines.
