Wizz Air will launch a new direct service connecting Hamburg to Pristina starting 15 December 2026. The budget carrier will operate the route four times weekly scheduling flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. This expansion comes as part of a larger growth strategy for Wizz Air in Kosovo fuelled by the upcoming opening of its new base at Pristina International Airport in November 2026.
The airline recently doubled its initial plans for the base announcing it will now station two aircraft in Pristina and introduce a total of five new routes. Alongside the Hamburg route the five-city network expansion from Pristina includes Berlin launching 14 December 2026, Frankfurt-Hahn launching 14 December 2026, Malmö launching 15 December 2026 and Trieste launching 19 December 2026.
The four-weekly Hamburg schedule is strategically designed to handle peak leisure and family travel without tying up an aircraft daily. This service joins Wizz Air’s existing operations from Hamburg Airport which include direct flights to Bucharest, Gdańsk and Belgrade.
