The World Spa Awards 2026 has recognised four locations on the island of Ireland across spa and wellness categories. The Spa at Ashford Castle in Cong, County Mayo has secured Ireland’s Best Hotel Spa for the 11th consecutive year. Eden One and Eden Elements in Dublin has been crowned Ireland’s Best Day Spa for the fifth year in a row.
The Culloden Estate and Spa in Belfast has won best regional hotel spa and Galgorm in County Antrim has been recognised as best day spa.
Global winners at the 12th Annual World Spa Awards included Guerlain Wellness Spa at Waldorf Astoria New York for World’s Best Hotel Spa. Lefay SPA World at Lefay Resort and SPA Dolomiti in Italy won World’s Best Resort Spa while Palazzo Fiuggi in Italy won World’s Best Wellness Retreat. Italy was named World’s Best Spa Destination and Switzerland was named World’s Best Wellness Destination.
