Avolon releases private offering of $400m worth of 6.375pc senior unsecured notes

Dublin based aircraft lessor, Avolon Holdings Funding Limited, a subsidiary of Avolon Holdings Limited, has priced a private offering of $400m worth of 6.375pc senior unsecured notes due 2028.

Avolon currently has 897 aircraft on lease to 147 airlines in 65 countries.

The Notes will be issued as an addition to the existing notes issued by Avolon Holdings Funding Limited and will be treated as a single series of securities under the relevant Indenture. The Notes will have the same CUSIP number as the Initial Notes.

Avolon and some of its subsidiaries will fully and unconditionally guarantee the Notes. The net proceeds from the offering will be used for general corporate purposes and may include the repayment of outstanding debts.

Notes will be subject to certain restrictions on transfer and will be offered only to qualified institutional buyers in the United States under Rule 144A and outside the United States under Regulation S of the Securities Act.
