
The 50th Germany Travel Mart (GTM) opened in Chemnitz last night and will run until Tuesday, 2024, celebrating 50 years of successful tourism exchange and highlighting enduring partnerships in travel and culture.
Indian trade professionals and media will participate in a Pre-Convention Tour and attend the main event in Chemnitz, focusing on UNESCO sites and sustainable travel, with a special emphasis on train travel.
The GTM 2024 will promote responsible tourism, showcasing Germany’s green initiatives and encouraging participants to explore the country’s offerings through a sustainable lens.
Representatives and media from 36 countries will attend the GTM to learn about the latest trends in German tourism, negotiate business deals, and explore the region.
The event will focus on sustainability and eco-friendly travel, promoting train travel as a prime mode of transportation to showcase Germany’s commitment to environmental stewardship.
Attendees will have the opportunity to experience Germany’s heritage, UNESCO sites, and ‘Feel Good’ initiative, encouraging responsible tourism and cultural immersion.
