Focus Group has started a digital transformation programme with Mitchells and Butlers. The project covers more than 1,700 venues across England with Cisco powered infrastructure valued at $17m. It includes Wi Fi 7 SD WAN upgraded LAN and secure service edge technologies.
The initiative modernises connectivity security and operations for the hospitality operator that runs around 6,000 users across 18 brands. Focus Group applied an automation first approach that generated efficiencies reinvested to expand scope. Additional integrations cover Microsoft Azure 365 backup and Mitel Contact Centre.
The rollout reached 75pc of sites with fibre to the premises connectivity at the start. The platform supports future digital services and guest experiences. Focus Group manages the full deployment with dedicated teams.
