The Irish Travel Agents Association (ITAA) has launched a competition giving two travel professionals the chance to win a place at the ITAA Annual Conference 2026 in Costa Daurada, Spain, from 1–4 October.
The competition is open exclusively to employees of ITAA Member Travel Agencies. Two winners will each receive a fully hosted place at the conference, including return flights from Dublin, Cork or Shannon. To enter, participants must create an engaging Facebook or Instagram post and load it on their ITAA member company’s page, tag the @irishtravelagentsassociation and use #ITAA. Entries must include images of Costa Daurada, Salou, Cambrils or Vila-seca and entrants must email a screenshot of the post, together with their name and company details, to info@itaa.ie. Entries will be judged on creativity, originality and how effectively they promote the destination.
Hosted in partnership with the Catalan Tourist Board, Costa Daurada tourism partners and the Spanish Tourist Office in Dublin, this year’s conference delegates will stay at the Blaumar Hotel in Salou. The programme includes business sessions, networking opportunities, a gala dinner and a range of destination experiences showcasing the region’s beaches, gastronomy, culture and visitor attractions. The competition closes at 5.00pm on Friday, 14 August 2026. Spain remains the number one overseas holiday destination for Irish travellers, attracting almost threem visits from Ireland annually.
