Belfast International airport handled 693,445 passengers in July, down slightly 0.1pc on 2025 and up 8.5pc on pre-pandemic. Rolling annual was 6,349,465, down 5.7pc on the twelve months to July 2025.

It follows a dueling of 0.8pc in June and growth rates of 6.5pc in May, 4.4pc in April, 5.6pc in March, 0.7pc in February and 2.2pc in January. Figures from January to June were 3,217,197 up 2pc on the first six months of 2025 and up 3.7pc on pre pandemic.
Belfast International Airport is undergoing a massive £100m transformation project alongside major updates to its flight network. The multi-year investment program aims to entirely modernize infrastructure, expand routes, and dramatically speed up the traveler experience.
