Kat Florence Hotel has unveiled its most significant evolution since opening, introducing The Kat Florence Reserve (a private 100-acre wilderness sanctuary), the Imperial Jade Manor (an exclusive heritage residence), and nightly star chef dinners included for all hotel guests. The intimate luxury retreat built by seven-time world record-breaking rare gemstone artist Kat Florence is located in Elora, Ontario, and will introduce these additions from September 1. The Reserve estate includes protected forest and wildlife, 2,500 linear feet of secluded riverbanks, and 100 acres of private natural reserve of the famous Elora Gorge, accessible only to selected hotel guests and by invite-only.

The Imperial Jade Manor is a meticulously restored heritage residence (formerly Rosemount Cottage, est. 1870s, and later Saint Margaret’s All Girls School) featuring in-residence spa facilities, a 6-figure custom stone hot bath beneath the stars, and a 60-foot swimming pool. Chef Dale Mackay, Canada’s first Top Chef winner and the formerly youngest recipient of the Relais and Chateaux Grand Chef designation, serves as the private chef for those staying in residence. The hotel has also introduced an evolving collection of museum-worthy, 7-figure value gemstones displayed throughout the hotel’s original 1848 limestone walls.

Every stay at The Kat Florence Hotel is accompanied by a multi-course tasting dinner each night, prepared by rotating Master Chefs including Anthony Bish, Chef Marc Collyer (formerly of twice Michelin-starred The Manor House), and Neill Anthony (private chef to royalty and stars). The hotel has earned international recognition for its intimate, highly personalized approach to ultra-rare travel experiences and royal hospitality. The additions establish both the hotel and Elora as one of Canada’s most compelling, exclusive tourism destinations.
