Expedia is expanding airport lounge access, security discounts and fare-price protection for members of its One Key loyalty programme. Gold members join Platinum members in receiving complimentary access to participating airport lounges or other terminal experiences when an eligible flight booked through Expedia’s US site is delayed by at least 90 minutes. Expedia distributes QR-enabled LoungeKey passes through its app, email and text message after an airline reports a qualifying delay.

The pilot applies to eligible flights booked between 30 September 2026 and 31 December 2027. Members use independent lounges in the LoungeKey network including The Club, Plaza Premium, Escape Lounges and Aspire. If no eligible venue is available, each registered traveller receives $20 in OneKeyCash. One Key members in the United States also receive tier-based pricing for CLEAR+, with Platinum members paying $129 annually and Gold and Silver members paying $179.

Under the revised earning structure, Blue members receive 1pc back in OneKeyCash, Silver and Gold members 2pc, and Platinum members 3pc. Instant member discounts remain available, while the previous flat 2pc rate, the 0.2pc reward on standalone flights and the hotel price guarantee for new bookings are being retired.
