The Irish Wedding Professionals Association has hosted its autumn networking event at Mount Juliet Estate. Members stepped inside the newly restored Manor House for the first time. The event discussed the opportunity for Ireland as a leading wedding destination.
The restored Manor offers a Georgian country house that can be booked exclusively with bedrooms, bars and Michelin-starred Lady Helen restaurant reserved for a single wedding party. Hunter’s Yard accommodates larger celebrations. The estate is 90 minutes from Dublin Airport.
The event included a panel discussion moderated by Aisling McVeigh of DANU Collective. The panel brought together Mark Dunne, General Manager of Mount Juliet Estate, Sinéad Monaghan, Director of Sales and Marketing at Mount Juliet Estate, and wedding planner Michelle Johnstone Clark of Waterlily Weddings.
Mark Dunne shared “Opening the doors of the Manor House to the IWPA was a special moment for all of us at Mount Juliet. These are the planners, suppliers and creatives who help couples decide where to marry, so their reaction to the house matters enormously to us.”
Eunice Power shared “Evenings like this matter. For our members, seeing a venue like Mount Juliet first-hand and talking honestly about Ireland’s potential gives them insight they can take straight back to their own businesses.”
