Spring Hotels has revealed plans for an extensive renovation of Cleopatra Palace and a Family Suites concept at Mediterranean Palace at WTM London 2026. The developments follow the group’s acquisition of Cleopatra Palace, Mediterranean Palace and Sir Anthony Hotel in 2025. Cleopatra Palace sits on Tenerife’s Golden Mile.
The Cleopatra Palace renovation covers a luxury design-focused property with five-star service, wellness and recovery facilities, beach club experiences, a rooftop terrace, premium dining and family areas. Plans include swimming pools, a gym expected to be Tenerife’s largest, hyperbaric chambers, specialist recovery facilities, yoga, sound baths and spa experiences. The renovation complements the Pirámide de Arona auditorium, which accommodates up to 1,600 delegates.
Mediterranean Palace will introduce Family Suites that combine two connecting rooms into a single booking with two bedrooms and two bathrooms at a lower cost than booking two rooms separately. The existing volleyball court will become a Splash Zone with slides and water-based fun. Age-tailored children’s amenity kits will also be introduced. Spring Hotels reported 19pc revenue growth, a 15pc increase in overnight stays and more than 43,000 additional room nights sold. Repeat visitors account for 30pc of all bookings, rising to 35pc among England guests and 26pc among Irish guests.
Jo Robinson shared “It’s been a strong year for Spring Hotels, and the response from guests and our trade partners since we added Cleopatra Palace, Mediterranean Palace and Sir Anthony Hotel to our portfolio has been really encouraging. Tenerife has always been at the heart of Spring Hotels, and we’re proud to be investing in the future of these properties.”
