Boeing has signed an agreement with Icelease for up to three 767-300 Boeing converted freighters. The converted aircraft will be integrated into the managed cargo portfolio of Icelease’s Dublin-based sister company, IAT Leasing, which already operates seven smaller 737-800BCFs.
Boeing announced the formal agreement with aircraft lessor Icelease for one firm 767-300 Boeing Converted Freighter (BCF) order, alongside options for up to two additional conversions.
The contract leverages existing passenger airframes to capitalize on growing global medium-widebody cargo demand. Induction of the first passenger jet is scheduled for Q1 2027, with delivery of the completed freighter expected in Q2 2027. The structural conversions will take place at ST Engineering’s airframe MRO facilities in Singapore. The 767-300BCF carries a 57-tonne payload over a maximum range of 3,300 nautical miles.
