
Royal Caribbean International has started construction on a new private resort, the Royal Beach Club Paradise Island, a 17-acre beach experience in Nassau, The Bahamas.
The first of the Royal Beach Club Collection, set to open in 2025, will showcase the Bahamian culture, food, and staff, with a public-private partnership where Bahamians will own up to 49 percent equity.
Royal Caribbean Group President and CEO Jason Liberty and Royal Caribbean International President and CEO Michael Bayley, along with Bahamian government officials, commemorated the groundbreaking event, emphasizing partnership and economic development.
The Royal Beach Club Paradise Island will feature local Bahamian architectural design, three swimming pools, swim-up bars, private cabanas, and more, with further details to be revealed in the coming months. The project aims to enhance the tourism product and empower the Bahamian community in the tourism industry.
