AerFin has completed the sale of an Airbus A330 airframe to the parts trading arm of an airline. The transaction supports the supply of used serviceable material in the global aftermarket for aviation components. The airframe in question likely refers to a former Air France A330-203 previously stored at Tarbes-Lourdes-Pyrénées Airport.
Widebody airframes such as the A330 provide material for platforms with extended operational lives ahead. AerFin places such assets with customers to maximise value through its experience with widebody platforms. The sale aligns with the company’s focus on the full asset lifecycle and keeping aircraft and parts in active use.
AerFin, founded in 2010, operates offices in Dublin, Wales, London, Miami, and Singapore. The company employs over 200 people and serves more than 600 customers worldwide in aircraft, engine, and parts management.
Auvinash Narayen shared “Widebody airframes remain an important source of material for the industry, particularly for platforms with a long operational life ahead of them. This sale reflects our ability to place assets with customers who understand how to maximise their value.”
