Wicklow residents have reiterated their ongoing concerns at Aircoach’s plan to discontinue its bus service from Dublin Airport to Bray and Greystones by the end of February, as proposed to the National Transport Authority (NTA).
The review stems from Aircoach’s prior changes, where the 703 route was absorbed by the 702 route, increasing journey times to nearly three hours during peak hours and affecting multiple stops, including those in Killiney, Dalkey, Dun Laoghaire, and Monkstown.
If approved, the new plan will restrict the 702 route to Dalkey, eliminating direct service to Wicklow, which Brady argues will significantly impact residents who rely on this transportation to access the airport conveniently.
