Ryanair has confirmed it will not resume flights to Israel before March 31, 2024, and is still considering when to resume operations to Jordan.

Emirates President Tim Clark expressed optimism about resuming flights to Beirut following a ceasefire, indicating a potential return to operations soon. Emirates and Etihad Airways have both said flights would be off until January.

Airlines have adjusted their flight capacities away from the Middle East due to regional tensions, which may complicate the process of returning to those routes even after peace is restored.

EasyJet’s Kenton Jarvis highlighted the airline’s intent to return to Israel but emphasized the need for sustained stability in the region before making any flight resumption decisions: “I think obviously we would love to fly again to Israel, but we will continue to have a look at the situation. It’s great that ceasefire has been announced, but we’d need to see kind of more stability sustained in the Middle East, before we thought about flying.”
