Renowned Irish gallery Gormleys is bringing a world-class art exhibition to Sheen Falls Lodge in Kenmare from September 13 to October 12. The lodge’s 300-acre estate will serve as the backdrop for a curated selection of sculptures and artworks when Art at the Falls returns. Works by Banksy, Andy Warhol and Tracey Emin will feature alongside a striking collection of life-size outdoor sculptures positioned around the lodge’s grounds between the Sheen River and the mountains of Kenmare Bay.

One of Ireland’s most acclaimed artists and proud Kerry native, Liam O’Neill will feature his collection of sculptures depicting traditional Irish ways of life, adding a special local dimension to the exhibition. Inside the hotel, guests can admire iconic pieces by global icons including Banksy, Andy Warhol and Tracey Emin, alongside an array of celebrated Irish artists. The free exhibition will officially open on Sunday, September 13 at 3pm and will open daily to the public from 11am to 7pm.

To celebrate the return of the event, tickets are now on sale for Art of Conversation, a special gathering celebrating art, artists, opera and culinary excellence. Mary McCarthy, Director of the Crawford Art Gallery, will moderate a conversation with artists Ian Pollock, Liam O’Neill and Debbie Chapman, alongside a special tribute honouring the life and work of Christine Bowen. The experience will be complemented by a five-course dinner with wines curated by Executive Chef Mark Treacy and a performance by The Blackwater Valley Opera.
