The first edition of AURA, The Luxury Travel Event, has opened in Florence from 27 to 29 October 2026. Organised by Italian Exhibition Group at the Fortezza da Basso, it brings together more than 100 high-end Italian hospitality operators and international buyers. Luxury travel sales are forecast to grow by nearly 21pc in 2026 with autumn bookings rising strongly.
AURA is a closed B2B workshop event exclusively for accredited international buyers and high-end luxury hospitality operators. The event includes one-to-one workshops, trend and strategy talks and destination experiences in Florence and Tuscany. The itinerary features visits to Palazzo Pucci, the Ferragamo Museum and the Gucci Museum alongside artisanal workshops.
Data shows 46pc of high-end travellers are maintaining or increasing their premium travel budgets. Italy remains a top destination for multi-city itineraries. The event is the upscale evolution of the former Luxury Event by TTG format.
