Ireland inbound visitor numbers from USA were 104,300 in April, up 11.3pc on April 2025 and down 37.9pc on pre-pandemic. Rolling annual was 1,383,300, up 19.7pc on the twelve months to April 2025.
The decrease is partly attributable to the earlier Easter and partly to the loss of the loss of the three hubs of preference in the Middle East, Abu Dhabi (Etihad), Doha (Qatar Airways) and Dubai (Emirates).
This follows increases of 7.1pc in March 2025, 7.1pc in February and 3.9pc on January.
