Avolon acquires 15 and sells 20 aircraft during April to June period

Avolon reported the acquisition of 15 aircraft and the sale of 20 during the second quarter of 2025, ending with 54 aircraft agreed for sale. The company placed 26 aircraft from its orderbook and reached 98pc placement for the next 24 months.

Avolon’s fleet totalled 1,076 aircraft, including commitments for 442 new technology, fuel-efficient aircraft as of the end of Q2 2025. The company raised US$2.2 billion in new unsecured bank facilities and completed a tender offer for US$1.2 billion of senior unsecured notes due in 2026.

Avolon received upgraded ratings from Moody’s and Fitch to Baa2 and BBB respectively, with a positive outlook by S&P at BBB-.

Avolon shared “We pride ourselves on our deep customer relationships, our collaborative team approach, and our fast execution. As of 30 June 2025, Avolon has an owned, managed, and committed fleet of 1,076 aircraft.”
