Collinstown based CityJet has been handed all the wet-lease flying from Spanish sister airline Air Nostrum as part of their post-merger integration under the new holding company SARA.

Discussions are ongoing about the future fleet plan for Air Nostrum and CityJet, with consideration for their different business models.

Revenue streams for SARA will span all three alliances due to partnerships with airlines in Star Alliance, SkyTeam, and Oneworld.

Plans for Air Nostrum’s fleet in 2028-2030 include additional used ATR 72-600s and CRJ1000s, with the phase-out of CRJ200s scheduled for next year.
