Concept designs for the transformative £100m Belfast Stories project have been unveiled, which will be located at the former Bank of Ireland building and is set to become a public space, visitor attraction, and creative hub by 2030.
The ambitious project aims to draw over 700,000 visitors annually and create approximately 1,200 jobs during both construction and operation, making it a significant economic driver for the city.
The design team includes notable local and international talent, featuring Oslo-based architects Snøhetta, known for projects like the Oslo Opera House, and Belfast-based TODD Architects, along with Ralph Appelbaum Associates, who are developing the visitor experience.
Belfast City Council is conducting a 14-week public consultation process to engage the community in the project, welcoming feedback and input on the proposed designs and functionality of the new landmark.
