Delegates begin to arrive in Antalya for ITAA 2023 conference

The first group of delegates for the 2023 Irish Travel Agents Association conference have arrived in Antalya. 

Further groups of conference delegates arrive today on flight XQ 533 to Antalya and tomorrow Wednesday on flight XQ 887to Izmir.

The conference will be preceded by a golf event at Cullinan Golf Club on Aspendos golf course.

The conference will take place on Thursday with excursions to local attractions on Friday.  to Izmir 

Excursion options include an e-bike experience, the ancient cities of Perge and Side, a boat trip to Duden Waterfalls, the Archaeology Museum and Hadrian’s Gate in Antalya, 

Events include a reception at Ruin Adalia where delgates wil be addressed by Dr. Candemir Zoroğlu: Antalya Directorate of Culture and Tourism.

This is the conference agenda on Thursday:

  • 09:30: Conference opening speeches by Tuncay Eminoğlu (Deputy CEO SunExpress), Timuçin Güler (Ministry of Culture & Tourism General Director of Promotion), and Angela Walsh (ITAA President).
  • 10:15: Keynote Address by Oonagh O’Hagan.
  • 11:15: Coffee break.
  • 11:30: Sinead Reilly speaks on Travel & Tech.
  • 12:30: Lunch.
  • 13:30: ITAA Update for 2023 into 2024.
  • 14:00: Supplier panel with Q&A moderated by Eoghan Corry.
  • 15:00: Coffee break.
  • 15:15: Padraic O’Maille speaks on “SMÁCHT. The science of thinking clearly: Taking action; and Keeping score.”
  • 17:15: ITAA President closing address.
  • 17:30: Conference close.
