The daa advises passengers to arrive two hours before a short-haul flight and three hours prior to a long-haul flight.

Graeme McQueen shared that the August bank holiday is consistently one of the busiest weekends for the airport, superseded only by the first school holiday Friday in the years immediately before pandemic.

Graeme McQueen shared, “The August bank holiday is always one of the busiest weekends for us and this year will be no different. There’s lots going on in Ireland this weekend to entice people here. The departure gates are set to be busy too. The start of the new English football season will bring plenty of colour to the terminals.”
