Dublin Airport has expressed concern that 20pc of operational staff have accumulated more than 64 hours each of time in lieu.
Airport operator DAA aims to address this issue during upcoming pay talks with trade unions to simplify its payroll process.
The accumulation of time in lieu was likely a result of efforts to improve operations and prevent queues during peak travel times, following a major staffing crisis in 2022.
