Dublin Airport has received planning permission to increase night-time flight frequency to 95 between 11pm and 7am.

North Runway usage has been extended to operate until midnight and from 6am subject to a noise quota scheme A cap of 35,672 night-time flights was established to safeguard residential areas and manage airport growth

An Comisiún Pleanála acknowledged the need for a quota system to consider the cumulative impact on surrounding communities

Lynne Embleton shared “the draft decision was absolute madness, unworkable and would be extremely detrimental to the airline’s services.”
