A strike by airport ground workers in Helsinki resumed today, causing Finnair to cancel around 80 flights.
Cancellations include Dubin to Helsinki flights AY1382@09.45 & Inbound AY1381.
The ongoing labour dispute between the Finnish Aviation Union and Service Sector Employers has not been resolved after failed negotiations.
Industrial action is planned for the 16th, 18th, 21st, and 23rd of July 2025, affecting services and flights.
From the 2nd to the 8th of July 2025, in-flight sales and catering on domestic and European flights will be limited, with recommendations for passengers to bring snacks.
Finnair representatives shared: “If the rebooking we’ve offered doesn’t suit you, you can also find another flight and change your travel date free of charge. If you wish to cancel your entire journey or all flights in your booking have been cancelled, you can apply for a refund.”
