English golf journalists have visited Limerick and Clare as guests of Tourism Ireland and Fáilte Ireland. The group explored several golf courses in the region. Around 8.3m British golf fans stand to read coverage of the visit.
The journalists played at Dromoland Castle Golf Club, Limerick Golf Club and Ballyneety Golf Club. They also took part in a tasting tour at Treaty City Brewery. The visit took place in April 2026.
Adare Manor will host the Ryder Cup in 2027 while the Walker Cup will take place in Lahinch and the Irish Open at Trump International Golf Links in Doonbeg in 2026. The journalists represented leading UK publications. Their articles will promote golf tourism from Britain.
