Europe has accounted for 18 of the world’s top 50 bars in the latest ranking. Paris overtook London as the continent’s best-represented city. Bar Leone in Hong Kong was the overall winner for the second consecutive year.
The World’s 50 Best Bars 2026 list was revealed at an awards ceremony in Milan on 7 October 2026. Moebius Milano placed second and Alquimico in Cartagena placed third. Bar Us in Bangkok placed fourth and Line in Athens placed fifth. Handshake Speakeasy in Mexico City placed sixth and Zest in Seoul placed seventh.
Connaught Bar in London placed eighth. Lady Bee in Lima placed ninth and Bar Mauro in Mexico City placed tenth. The ranking features cocktail venues from around the globe. Paris had multiple bars in the top 50. London remained represented with Connaught Bar in the top ten.
