Ecuador has been selected as the Partner Country for Fitur 2024, organizsed by Ifema Madrid, will take place from 24 to 28 January 2024 at Madrid’s trade fair centre.
The trade fair is expected to expand to over 140,000 m2 of space across 9 halls, bringing together more than 9,000 companies and over 150,000 professional visitors from the tourism industry worldwide.
More than 100,000 people are estimated to visit Fitur during the weekend, solidifying its position as one of the major international tourism fairs.
Spain’s strong tourism relationship with Ireland, which will see 2.1m Irish tourists choosing Spain as their destination in 2023, highlights the importance of Ireland’s tourism sector’s presence at Fitur to foster strategic alliances and collaborations.
