Fundraising campaigns are underway to help restore the Doagh Famine Village after a fire heavily damaged it last Saturday.
Approximately two-thirds of the village, which showcases Irish history and the famine, was destroyed, prompting community and business support.
John McGonagle and Killian McLaughlin have initiated fundraising efforts, raising over €52,000 and donating ticket sales to the cause.
The fire originated from a faulty air compressor used for a display, spreading quickly and necessitating a multi-unit response from the Donegal Fire Service.
