The Irish Coast Guard has revealed the new livery for its next generation aircraft under the recently awarded 10-year aviation services contract.
Bristow Ireland Limited (BIL) has been awarded the contract to provide year-round, day and night Search and Rescue helicopter services using a fleet of six AW189 helicopters in various locations.
In addition to the helicopters, the Irish Coast Guard will also have a dedicated Fixed Wing service provided by 2EXCEL Ireland (2EI) at Shannon Airport to enhance its capabilities.
The new contract represents an important step for the Irish Coast Guard, and the transition to the new service will be gradual and carefully planned for a smooth transition.
